Jadu Academy 2025: The Age of Agents - Key Messages
We recently hosted the Jadu Academy 2025 LIVE in London! It was an excellent day filled with innovative and inspiring customer talks, valuable industry connections, and collaboration among peers. This year's theme was “The Age of Agents”.
So, what does The Age of Agents mean?
We’re navigating a transformative shift of accelerating technology and the way digital services are delivered with the rise of AI-powered agents (chatbots, virtual assistants, robotics, and automation). Today, digital services are defined by this technology. To be ready for a digital, self-service future, we must embrace modern standards that place accessibility, interoperability, and innovation at the heart of service delivery. This will ensure that AI and AI-agents aren’t just an add-on, but a fundamental driver of more accessible, responsive, and efficient self-service.
In the Age of Agents, constituents expect seamless, self-service interactions powered by intelligent automation. The Jadu Academy explored how, together, we can integrate AI and digital agents into core service delivery, building AI-enabled infrastructure that is inclusive, interoperable, and designed to evolve rapidly.
With this, we had some big announcements during our Keynote session. Here is a quick round-up for those who were unable to attend:
Agent-Ex Factory
Agent-Ex Factory is Jadu’s new no-code platform that empowers teams to build and deploy AI agents quickly and compliantly, without needing deep technical skills or long development cycles.
At its core, Agent-Ex Factory enables users to create intelligent agents that surface information, automate tasks, and connect seamlessly with existing systems (like Jadu Central). It’s built specifically for organisations facing IT bottlenecks, accessibility requirements (WCAG 2.2 AA), and limited resources.
With out-of-the-box support for multiple LLMs, API/webhook integration, and reusable agent structures (via Reusable Agentic Graphs or RAGs), Agent-Ex Factory helps you:
- Reduce support demand with smarter self-service
- Ensure compliance with accessibility and privacy standards
- Accelerate digital transformation through fast deployment and non-technical agent management
- Maintain control with editorial oversight and clear source attribution
Agent-Ex Factory is designed to meet your unique needs, deliver value fast, and scale without the complexity or vendor lock-in typical of enterprise AI tools.
Agent-Ex: Search
In our Keynote and product update sessions, we showcased Agent-Ex: Search, which delivers fast, accurate, and accessible AI-powered answers directly within your website’s search with no training or complex setup required, in any web CMS.
Built for public sector, education, and enterprise use, it helps reduce support volumes, lower costs, and improve digital experiences. With multilingual support, WCAG 2.2 AA compliance, and full editorial control, it’s the smarter way to connect people with the information they need.
“It’s not a chatbot. It’s a new standard for digital self-service.” - Suraj Kika, CEO, Jadu
Agent-Ex: Search is not a chatbot. It’s a fundamental new approach to digital self-service, providing users with what they came for: fast, accurate answers, not lengthy lists of links or convoluted chat trees.
Customers, including Lichfield District Council and Medway Council, are already adopting the new AI Agent to help deliver their digital services.
Jadu Assist
Jadu Assist (formerly Jadu Labs) introduces AI-driven enhancements to Jadu Central and Jadu Connect, redefining content creation and workflow management.
At its core is Content Assist, an AI copilot embedded in the browser sidebar, which offers intelligent prompts, suggested edits, and reasoning to support users in crafting content across various text editors, emails, timelines, and more.
Alongside this is an upgraded Visual Workflow tool in Jadu Connect, featuring a refreshed UI, improved diagram accuracy, split view, top-down rendering, and faster performance through local caching, making complex workflows easier to visualise and manage.
Additional enhancements informed by user feedback include stricter and safer image replacement policies, as well as more reliable feature and theme toggling, all aimed at delivering a smoother and more productive user experience.

Local Government Reorganisation
We recently hosted a powerful roundtable session with local government leaders to explore the reform opportunities presented by Local Government Reorganisation (LGR). This discussion brought together insights from industry experts, including:
- LGR isn’t just a restructuring; it’s a rare chance to restructure and fundamentally reform how councils operate and deliver services
- Collaboration is essential: across teams, councils, and communities
- Residents must remain at the centre of transformation
We announced that moving forward, Jadu will continue to build a community around LGR for ongoing feedback and idea sharing, including an in-person session in the autumn to build on the momentum from June’s roundtable. We also announced that we will be releasing a whitepaper capturing insights, best practices, and lessons from councils that have successfully navigated LGR.

Microsoft Teams Integration
Our Keynote recapped Jadu’s powerful integration with Microsoft Teams, developed in collaboration with Runnymede Borough Council, which enables real-time communication and workflow automation using Microsoft Power Automate.
When a resident submits a web form, leaves a phone message, or sends mail, the information is captured in Jadu Connect and automatically triggers the creation of an Adaptive Card, which is sent directly to Microsoft Teams. These cards display case details and allow staff to take action, such as updating the status or closing a case, without leaving the Microsoft Teams environment. Jadu acts as the system of record, ensuring all data is logged, traceable, and audit-friendly, while the integration streamlines how that data is surfaced to staff.
“This is a game-changer if people are ready to embrace it.” - Stephen Bowen, Head of Digital Innovation & Delivery, Runnymede Borough Council.
