Jadu Assist: The next evolution in AI-assisted content authoring, accessibility checks and refined workflow management
Jadu Assist is the next step in the evolution of the user experience within Jadu Central and Jadu Connect. What began as Jadu Labs, a space for exploring new functionality on the Jadu platform, has now evolved into Jadu Assist, a powerful tool that combines customisation tools with new AI-powered features.
- At the centre of this update are two key elements:
Features, which continue to offer a space for exploration of new functionality and allow users to tailor their environment to their preferences, bringing across the functionality of what was Jadu Labs - And the introduction of Agents, intelligent copilots designed to support content creation through curated prompts, suggested edits and accessibility checks.
Together, they help users work smarter by interacting with content and workflows in an intelligent and efficient manner.

Meet the Agents
The first agent within Jadu Assist is Content Assist, an evolution of the Smart Editors feature released at the Jadu Academy in 2024. Through the browser sidebar, Content Assist offers a copilot-style experience, offering strategic editing suggestions and AI-powered logic that can transform your content.

The next agent is Accessibility Assist. This helps ensure your web content can be easily understood and navigated by everyone, including those using assistive technologies such as screen readers or those with visual impairments. By embedding accessibility into the content creation process, the tool empowers you to deliver a more inclusive digital experience, effortlessly.
At launch, Accessibility Assist introduces “Check Links”, which scans your content for potential link-related accessibility issues, including:
- Plain text (unlinked) URLs
- Linked URLs used as link text
- Ambiguous phrases like “Click here” or “Read more”
- Links that open in new tabs or windows without warning users

When issues are detected, Accessibility Assist provides clear, actionable suggestions for more inclusive link text, helping you make accessibility best practices part of your everyday workflow.
Additional accessibility agents are already in development, with checks for headings, iFrames, tables and more coming soon.
Where Jadu Assist works
- Jadu Central: Available in rich text editors across document pages, news, events, and more.
- Jadu Connect: Assists with timeline messages, email templates, notes, and other long-form content areas.
By integrating AI directly into content workflows, users can access powerful AI tools instantly, boosting their productivity and enhancing content quality.
Enhanced workflow visualisation
Another new element of Jadu Assist is Visual Workflow for Jadu Connect, which takes process management to the next level. This real-time, interactive flowcharting tool simplifies complex workflows, helping users maintain clarity and confidence when building or modifying processes.

What’s new in visual workflow?
- Updated UI: Diagrams are now visible across all workflow tabs, keeping users oriented as they navigate different states, transitions, and forms.
- Improved diagram accuracy: Paths now highlight transitions based on logical connections, reducing ambiguity.
- Enhanced split view: Users can toggle between different viewing modes for a more customizable experience.
- Top-down rendering: A new vertically oriented layout option provides an alternative way to view your workflows, especially in Split View.
- Local caching for faster performance: Large workflows now load faster thanks to client-side caching.
These improvements ensure that users can maintain a clear mental model of their workflows, making process management more intuitive and accessible
Honourable mentions
Thanks to user feedback, alongside the addition of Agents, we’ve introduced several meaningful enhancements:
- The replace background image feature now has a stricter content policy to guarantee safe-for-work image choices and has been fine-tuned to prioritise nature-related images.
- We've focused on improving the reliability and performance of enabling and disabling features and themes, ensuring smoother transitions and fewer disruptions to your work.
We’d love to hear from you! As we continue refining these features, your feedback is invaluable. If you’re trying out Jadu Assist or the new Visual Workflow tools, let us know what you think.
